My Fallen Angels are complete (for the moment)! The last group I had was the Dark Vengeance terminators. I also saved Cypher for the last group of photos.
For the most part these are just stock terminators from the Dark Vengeance set. Overall these are really great models.
This guys has a bit of conversion work going on. First off I converted the combi-flamer with leftover parts from the space marine special weapons. Secondly I used an arm off of a regular terminator in place of the power fist. It looks ok, but the black armor helps hide my greenstuff mistakes.
This guy was actually made with leftover bits from the Dark Angels upgrade sprue and an extra terminator body.
The man, the myth, the legend. Cypher! The only part of him that is original is the metal body. Everything else had to be from bits. I am extremely pleased with how he turned out.
Overall I am very happy with the way this army looks. I started my Fallen Angels as a way for me to improve my 'clean' model look (as opposed to Nurgle). Painting black armor ins't super difficult, but it is tedious. I did fall in love with painting reds. The robes in particular turned out better than I had expected. In the future I may expand this army, but it will never be on the competitive side of things.
